My name is Jae Mi (pronounced ‘jay-mee’),or just the designer with the really hard name – which is why you’ll find my portfolio at jaemicrac.com and not with my full last name.
I’m a passionate UX/UI Designer and Web Designer based in the vibrant Washington Metropolitan Area (DMV), dedicated to creating digital experiences that are visually appealing, enjoyable, and intuitive for every user.
I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Web and Digital Design, building on my Associate’s degree in Business Administration. This diverse educational background, combined with specialized certifications in UX Design and Project Management from Google, provides me with a unique perspective on bringing ideas to life.
With a professional background in marketing and office administration, I’ve always been drawn to understanding people and optimizing processes.
I thrive on solving complex problems, transforming ideas into user-friendly interfaces, and continuously learning from both data and human behavior, pushing for designs that are both innovative and practical.
When I’m not immersed in design, you might find me at the home improvement store stocking up for my next home improvement project, pursuing another professional certificate, or hunting down hidden food gems and cozy coffee shops. ☕️ ♡
